All in-stock gowns undergo a comprehensive quality audit: hand inspection of sequins, boning, zippers, and hem lines, followed by steaming, dust-bag wrapping, and protective boxing.
Carrier Transit & Milestones
Your tracking number is activated as soon as the courier scans your package at our facility. Transit timelines start from the carrierâs initial intake scan.
Event Safety Buffer Recommendation
For prom, pageant, and bridal events, we strongly advise placing your order at least 2 to 3 weeks before your function date to accommodate any customary local dressmaker alterations.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes or military APO/FPO addresses? +
Yes, for domestic United States orders, standard shipping can be delivered to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO military addresses via USPS. However, please note that Express Shipping requires a physical street address, as private expedited couriers (such as UPS and FedEx) cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.
What should I do if my event date is approaching quickly? +
If your event is within the next 7 business days, we highly recommend selecting Express Shipping ($30 USD Domestic / $45â$55 USD International) at checkout and contacting our Concierge Team immediately via WhatsApp (+1 775-902-7913) with your Order ID and event date so we can prioritize atelier packaging.
Does my delivery require a signature? +
To protect high-value designer formalwear from porch theft or weather exposure, select orders over $500 USD or orders sent via Express International courier may require a signature upon delivery. If no one is available, the courier will leave a notice with rescheduling or local pickup instructions.
Why has my tracking number not updated for 24â48 hours? +
When a shipping label is generated, tracking indicates "Label Created" or "Pre-Shipment." The initial milestone scan takes place once the courier trailer arrives at the regional distribution center, which may take up to 24â48 hours during peak prom weekends. Rest assured your parcel is in active motion.
How are gowns packaged to avoid transit damage? +
Every Boutinie gown is placed in an acid-free protective dust sleeve and carefully folded inside a sturdy, heavy-duty carton box. We never roll or crush formalwear into plastic envelopes, ensuring delicate corsetry, horsehair braids, and hand-stitched beadwork arrive intact.
Taxes, Customs & Import Duties
Domestic (United States): Applicable state and local sales taxes are calculated at checkout in compliance with destination state regulations. Product prices on the storefront are listed net of state tax.
International Shipments (DAP â Delivered At Place): All orders shipped outside the United States are dispatched under DAP incoterms. Product prices and shipping fees paid at Boutinie checkout do not include local import duties, foreign value-added taxes (VAT/GST), or customs brokerage fees that may be assessed by your nationâs border agency.
Any import duties or clearance fees assessed by local customs authorities are the sole responsibility of the recipient and must be cleared prior to final delivery.

Address Changes & Delivery Policies
Address Change Window (2 Hours)
Because our fulfillment center operates rapidly to ensure on-time event dispatch, shipping address correction requests must be submitted within 2 hours of order placement. Once a courier tracking number is assigned and the manifest has closed, address modifications cannot be altered by our support team.
Undeliverable & Refused Shipments
Please ensure your delivery address includes all apartment, suite, or unit details. If a parcel is returned to our atelier as undeliverable due to an incorrect customer address, multiple missed delivery attempts, or customs refusal, the customer is responsible for re-shipment freight fees.
Lost or Damaged Transit Claims
All shipments are insured against total loss in transit. In the rare event that a package indicates "Delivered" but cannot be located, please contact our team within 48 hours so we can immediately initiate a GPS-assisted carrier investigation and resolution.
